54)Pterodactyls and Poison Gas

In rather remote areas of the country, farmers and ranchers are being plagued by something they do not understand. Cows and horses are being found in the morning, dead and mutilated. People are terrified, properly so. The animals which survive this attack are reported to be traumatized. Even dogs are afraid to go outside the house.

The gruesome details are that there ”is no blood”, which is to say that it is clear the animals did not die as a result of wounds, which is to say trauma, as that is the correct scientific phrase. In popular terms, they were not shot, stabbed or killed, at least not by humans. In addition, it is also clear that they were also not killed by predators such as wolves, bears or mountain lions. Careful examinations of the areas surrounding the carcasses has revealed no sign of humans, either foot prints or vehicle tracks. As well, the owner of these animals were able to determine no sign of other predators. Bear in mind that the people who live in such areas tend to be rather accomplished in such matters of investigation. We can believe their reports, as they are accurate.

It is thought that ”someone or something” drained all the blood out of the animals, as there was no blood flow from the wounds. That is utter nonsense, as the animals are mutilated only after they are first killed. Any school child is well aware that the heart quits beating after the animal dies, so that any wounds sustained post mortem, do not bleed.

As a result of this, certain individuals with active imaginations have proposed that these animals were killed and mutilated by ”extra terrestials”, or E.T., to use the standard abbreviation. Such an explanation is entertaining, and may serve to sell books and magazines. In modern times, we can add videos to the list. It also adds to the confusion.

Of course, the police have been notified, as it was at first thought to be an act of vandalism. The only thing they could do was take a report and investigate. They in turn came to the same conclusion, which is that these animals were not killed by people, and very likely not killed by animals. In scientific jargon, this is referred to as ”etiology unknown.”

The only people who could correctly explain the death and mutilation of these animals are the scientists, and they are doing that which they do best. They are remaining silent. They are supremely well aware that such an explanation would almost certainly cost them their careers. The class of people who are currently in charge, the monopoly capitalists, the bourgeoisie, are determined that nothing will change. Any scientist who challenges any of the currently accepted scientific theories, such as the mass extinction of dinosaurs, is subject to immediate dismissal.

The bourgeoisie cannot threaten me with career suicide, as it is a little late. I did that to myself many years ago. I no longer have a career.

With that in mind, I will explain that the animal responsible for this butchery is the pterodactyl, an animal thought to be extinct for many millions of years. It most certainly is not extinct, and in fact is alive and well. It preys upon animals as well as people, and is even more dangerous that I thought.

It does not kill these prey animals by sinking its claws into them, as I first suspected, but by ”gassing” them. It releases a ”cloud of smoke”, to use the popular expression, which is not smoke at all but toxic. In other words, a cloud of poison gas. This immediately kills the prey animal, and then the pterodactyl consumes the parts of the animal which are readily available. The genitals are frequently the first thing the animal devours. This is quickly followed by the eyes, ears, nose and tongue. As well, the large intestine is frequently ripped out of the rectal orifice. As there is a great deal of nourishment contained in this organ, it makes complete sense.

There are those who object that it would make more sense to rip the carcass apart. That is true, but the predators, the pterodactyls, are very light and the hides of such animals are very thick. Given sufficient time, no doubt the pterodactyl could manage this, but time is not on the side of the pterodactyl. The animal is nocturnal, and their every instinct is to return to the safety of the cave before daylight.

This animal is a marvel of evolution. It is perhaps the one and only predator to have evolved the ability to kill their prey with poison gas. This method of killing is safe for the pterodactyl, as the prey animal is killed at a distance, minimizing the danger to the predator.

The only question now is the identity of the gas the animal uses to kill these animals. Possibly the only way to determine this is through an analysis of the blood of the prey animal. Such a sample would have to be drawn shortly after the death of the prey animal and immediately sent to a laboratory. With any luck, the chemists could then determine traces of the poison.

I cannot imagine any other way to determine the poison gas used to kill the animals.

As for the ranchers who are losing their stock to these predators, I can only say that such predation will continue to take place, as long as the animals are kept outside after sundown.

It is my most sincere hope that members of the public will find this article helpful and become inspired to do that which the scientists dare not, which is to become active, to prove the existence of these animals, among others. Perhaps it will help to think of this as being part of the class struggle, that of the proletariat against the bourgeoisie, because that is precisely the case.

With that in mind, may I close the article with Marxist salutations:

Workers of the World, Unite!

Introduction to Political and Scientific Articles by Gerald McIsaac

For many years, I have been working on my science project. This includes my inventions, such as the Power Bike, which dramatically improves upon the efficiency of the conventional bicycle. In fact, it gives the human powered bicycle three times the power. Then there is the not so little matter of my plan to harness the magnetic field of the earth to generate electricity.

As well, I have written three books, The Second American Revolution, Occupy Movement and the Dictatorship Of the Proletariat, and possibly my most famous work, Bird From Hell, Third Edition. The title of the last book is a none too subtle reference to the pterodactyl.

These are books of science. In Bird From Hell, I document the existence of numerous prehistoric animals, those which are thought to be extinct. They are not. I have documented that there was no mass extinction of dinosaurs, just as there was no mass extinction of megafauna in North America. The directions for locating these animals is outlined in the book.

The fact is that the scientists are well aware of the existence of these animals, and that includes the Sasquatch, otherwise known as Bigfoot. Yet they choose to remain silent, and for good reason. To even suggest these animals exist is to commit career suicide.

In effect, science has been turned upon its head. Instead of proving these animals exist, the scientists are denying them. Instead of challenging scientific theories, scientists are now memorizing these theories. That is the only way in which they can continue to earn a living working in science.

The problem does not lie with the scientists, but with the capitalists. They are determined that nothing should change. Everything must remain precisely the way it is. In short, they are determined to destroy our civilization, as that is the very approach which brought down so many civilizations in the past.

That is the reason I wrote my Political and Scientific Articles. The politicians cannot threaten me with career suicide, as I do not have a career. I committed career suicide many years ago. Even though I cannot earn a living working in science, my conscience is clear. Now, I just work in science, but without getting paid for this.

In my book, I am suggesting that all Americans become card carrying members of the two mainstream political parties, Democratic and Republican. That way, as party bosses, they will determine the various candidates for political office. As a result, Washington can be flooded with Leftist people, Republican as well as Democratic. Both parties can nominate Sanders for president, and that will save everyone a great deal of money on campaign expenses.

Of course, I am suggesting a great deal more, as that is the reason there are so many articles. So feel free to sit back, relax and enjoy reading my plan to make the lives of Trump, and a great many other capitalists, completely miserable.

3)Lenin: Elections and the Dictatorship Of the Proletariat

It is no secret that for some time now I have been encouraging Americans to join the two mainstream political parties, Democratic and Republican. Of course I am mainly concerned with the working class, proletarians, and the more advanced those workers are, the better. No doubt at least some of those workers are considered to be Leftist people, and of course there are a great many middle class people, petty bourgeois, who are also Leftist. With a little effort, it is possible to flood Washington with such Leftist people, those who consider themselves to be Communists, Marxists, socialists, independent socialists, or just plain folks who are determined to make a difference. Contrary to popular belief, this is not as difficult and expensive as is commonly thought. In fact, it is real simple and just as easy, not at all expensive. The only reason it has not been tried before is because no one has thought of this.

This requires a little explanation. Capitalism has long since reached the monopoly stage, that which is technically referred to as imperialism. This highest stage of capitalism has certain features, as was documented by Lenin many years ago. Among other things, he pointed out that ”imperialism is reaction, right down the line.” As a result of this, everything in America is now for sale. That includes any and all political offices. Such offices are considered to be commodities, to be sold to the highest bidder.

The most expensive office is of course the presidency, and in fact it is reported that in the last federal election, the Democratic candidate for president spent one billion dollars, and she lost!

People are well aware that a congressional seat, by which I mean an office that is held by a member of the House of Representatives, also costs a great deal, possibly several million dollars. That is far beyond the price range of common people, so very few working people even give it a thought. Then again, they can take my advice and may be elected at almost no expense.

Almost all adult American citizens are eligible to join the two parties. All that is required is an application form to be filled out, and this can be done online. It costs nothing. Then in several weeks the citizen will receive, in the mail, a card which identifies the holder as a member of the party. Such card carrying members are referred to as ”party bosses”, because that is precisely what they are. Such party bosses determine the individual to run for any and all political offices. This means that as long as the party bosses choose the same person to run for congress on behalf of both parties, then that person is sure to win. There is no need for any expensive campaign. As a bonus, such a process is also blessed by the fact that it is completely legal. There is no law that says Americans cannot be members of both parties.

There are a number of Leftist political parties and organizations in the country. Many of them have challenged the two party system of the country in previous elections, without a great deal of success. I am suggesting a different approach. Instead of fighting the two party system, I am suggesting that Leftist people should embrace it. That is perhaps the best way to destroy the two party system.

With that in mind, I am suggesting that each and every member of all Leftist groups, along with their families and friends, should join the two parties. After that, it is a matter of getting as many concerned citizens as possible to also join the two parties. The simplest, most effective way to do this is to approach people with a slogan. That should get their attention. Different groups of people should be approached with different slogans. I would suggest first approaching the students, with slogans to which they can all relate. May I suggest:

Free Education!

Abolish All Student Loans!

As there are reported to be over forty million people who are saddled with crushing student debts, it is reasonable to expect that a great many citizens, and not just students,  will flock to the cause. Better yet, we can expect the more advanced people to join the two parties.

Then there are the seniors. They are accustomed to being ignored by all politicians, except at election time. As a result of this, they tend to be rather bitter. Given the chance to turn the tables, do not be surprised if they jump at the opportunity. The only reason they have not done so years ago is because they were not aware of it. That little problem is easily remedied. Just let them know about this. For the seniors, perhaps different slogans, such as:

Free Medical!

Raise The Pensions!

I have no doubt that will get their attention. Then explain to them that as card carrying members of the two parties, they will get to decide the person to run for office. The shoe will be on the other foot. The days of being ignored by politicians will then be over. Offer to assist them in applying for membership, as most seniors are not computer experts. Do not be surprised if that puts a smile on their faces.

As for the working people, including union members, may I suggest:

Raise the Minimum Wage!

All workers are aware that if the minimum wage goes up, all wages go up. There are other groups of people, such as sports enthusiasts, who will likely respond to different slogans. May I suggest:

Defend the Right to Bear Arms!

The vast majority of such people are reasonable, only concerned with bearing firearms for sporting purposes. As for those who are determined to own machine guns and artillery, do not argue the point. By all means avoid confrontation. It will serve no purpose.

Then there are those who are mainly concerned with our right to free speech, such as journalists. They too can be approached with a suitable slogan, such as:

Defend Our Right to Free Speech!

Less savoury elements may flock to the cause, such as pornographers, and they too must be welcomed. Of course, this does not apply to kiddy pornographers. Bear in mind that in politics, it is occasionally necessary to make certain compromises, if only temporarily, with people whom we may find to be completely contemptible. As long as these compromises do not violate principle, they are acceptable.

In all cases, feel free to stress the fact that as party bosses, they get to choose the individual to run for any and all political office, on behalf of both parties.

In days gone by, it was necessary to approach people directly, but now with modern communications, such as smart phones, it is much easier. Or so I have been told. As someone who is in his declining years, I am only familiar with stupid phones. The message is the important thing. The instrument which carries the message is not. Whether that message is carried by the Pony Express or the internet, is of no consequence.

With a little effort, on the part of Leftist people, I can see no reason that the two parties cannot be flooded with Leftist people. Then the newly created party bosses can get to work and place the names of Leftist candidates on the ballots for both parties. There is no law that says the same person cannot run for office on behalf of both parties. This way, there is no need for expensive campaigns.

No doubt there are a great many people who are quite skeptical. At least, I hope there are a great many such people. To approach a problem with such an attitude is a fine,  scientific method. As someone who has spent a great many years exercising that approach, I can honestly say that most people overlook the obvious. Possibly the reason that so many Americans have not joined the two parties is because they never thought of it.

Each of the parties has tens of millions of registered voters. This is encouraging, as it means that a great many citizens went to the trouble of registering to vote as a member of one of the two parties. Now if even a fraction of those voters, perhaps ten percent, go to the extra length of applying for membership in the two parties, then millions of Americans will soon become party bosses. Further, it stands to reason that only the most advanced members of the working class will choose to become card carrying members of the parties. That is precisely the very thing we want, as the most advanced do the leading, while the less advanced do the following. As a bonus, we can expect a mixture of young and old. They can learn from each other.

These party bosses can in turn endorse the candidate of their choice to run for any and all political office, on behalf of both parties, and very soon each and every member of Congress can be a socialist, or at least a Leftist person. A great many members of the Senate can also be Leftist people. What is more, both parties can endorse Sanders for president, or anyone else of their choice. If nothing else, that should save people the expense of running a presidential campaign, a couple billion dollars. Mission accomplished.

This could well happen in the next election. But then that begs the question: what to expect? The answer depends upon the person who answers the question.

Lenin answered that question in his excellent article titled:

Elections and the Dictatorship Of the Proletariat: (all italics and emphasis by Lenin)

”In mockery of the teachings of Marx, those gentlemen, the opportunists, including the Kautskyites, ‘teach’ the people that the proletariat must first win a majority by means of universal suffrage, then obtain state power, by the vote of that majority, and only after that, on the basis of ‘consistent’ (some call it pure) democracy, organize socialism.

But we say on the basis of the teachings of Marx and the experience of the Russian revolution:

the proletariat must first overthrow the bourgeoisie and win for itself state power, and then use that state power, that is, the dictatorship of the proletariat, as an instrument of its class for the purpose of winning the sympathy of the majority of the working people.”

We are now presented with a golden opportunity to put the ”teachings” of the opportunists to the test. They are determined that in the next federal election, the American voters can, ”by means of universal suffrage”, place a socialist candidate in each and every seat of the House of Representatives, the Congress, as well as a great many members of the Senate, and the presidency. The American voters will thus obtain ”state power” and be in a position to ”organize socialism”. So say the opportunists.

By contrast, Lenin says something entirely different. Based on the theories of Marx and the experience of the Russian revolution – and here we have a fine example of theory being verified by practice – such a policy is doomed to failure. It is necessary to ”first overthrow the bourgeoisie”, as the Russian working people, which is to say the proletariat and the poor peasants, overthrew the Russian bourgeoisie in November of 1917. They then set up a new state power in the form of the dictatorship of the proletariat. Only after they had seized state power and established the dictatorship of the proletariat were they able to organize socialism.

Now it is a matter of persuading the majority of American working people of the correctness of the theories of Marx and Lenin. As there are practically no peasants in the country, the situation is simpler than the situation in Russia of 1917. Now there are workers, proletarians, and middle class people, petty bourgeois. Even most of the middle class people have been financially ruined, forced into the ranks of the proletariat. Such people are aware of the existence of classes, even though many of them still maintain the bourgeois mentality.

All such people, working class and current or former members of the middle class, must be made aware of the revolutionary theories of Marx and Lenin. Then they must be persuaded, by their own experience, of the correctness of those theories. That is precisely the reason the next federal election is so important.

I can only stress that the importance of the election lies in the fact that it can be used as a tool to raise the level of awareness of the working class. It absolutely cannot be used to establish socialism, as the opportunists preach.

As Lenin pointed out in Left Wing Communism, An Infantile Disorder, the point is not to ”get seats” in Congress or any other legislative body, but to get people to think, to raise the level of awareness of the American workers, to draw the public into the struggle, to take the capitalists, the bourgeoisie, ”at their word”, as he phrased it. In this case the American capitalists, the billionaires, the bourgeoisie, are telling people to ”change the system from within”, if they do not like the way things are.

So be it. Instead of challenging the two mainstream political parties, as has taken place in so many elections in the past, we can join them. The American public will see how far they get trying to ”change the system from within”.

We have got to respect the beliefs of countless honest, law abiding, tax paying citizens who tend to believe these lies. Such citizens believe we can ”change the system from within”, that the capitalists will respond to the will of the majority. The only way to persuade them of the correctness of our position is to let them learn from their own experience. Such experience is a great teacher.

Regardless of the number of socialists who are sent to Washington, to occupy seats in Congress, the Senate or even the White House, the class of people in charge, the capitalists, the bourgeoisie, will not allow the country to become socialist.

This challenge to their authority, all of which is completely legal, will not be tolerated. They will respond by changing their method of rule. As yet we have no way of knowing the substance of those changes. We just know that the bourgeoisie are completely reactionary, so we can expect nothing progressive from them.

The main thing is that the members of the American public will receive an education. Both working class people and middle class people will soon realize that there can be no peaceful transition to socialism. The bourgeoisie must be overthrown, the current state apparatus must be destroyed, replaced by the dictatorship of the proletariat and only then can socialism be established.

As for the vast majority of the people, the slogans of Marx and Lenin must be:

Scientific Socialism!

Workers of the World, Unite!

Dictatorship Of the Proletariat!

27)Concerning the Collapse of Capitalism

The international working class revolutionary movement continues to expand and gain strength. The uprisings in America, France and Hong Kong are most encouraging. Even the bourgeois journalists are impressed by their strength, and they expect these ”uprisings”, as they refer to them, to only intensify.

On the American front, so to speak, a simple phone call may spell the end of Trump. Even the strongest supporters of capitalism are outraged. It should be noted that such people do not refer to this as capitalism, but as democracy. In all fairness to such supporters, it is indeed democracy, but democracy for the ruling class of capitalists, the bourgeoisie. For the working class, the proletariat, it is a dictatorship. The dictatorship of the bourgeoisie.

This particular phone call, which Trump insists was ”perfect”, was a conversation between Trump and the president of Ukraine. The Ukrainian president raised the topic of the vast quantity of military aid which the American congress had voted to be sent to the Ukraine. Trump responded by saying that he first wanted a ”favour”, which is to say that he first wanted ”dirt” on his main political rival.

The press is reporting on this conversation with considerable enthusiasm. They are using the term ”quid pro quo”, while at the same time assuming that their audience is aware of the meaning of the term. To most working people, this is ”Greek”, as indeed it may well be. With that in mind, I will explain that the term means ”a favour for a favour”. Then again, the Speaker of the House is bluntly referring to it as a bribe.

The significance of that statement is that bribery is mentioned in the Constitution as grounds for impeachment and subsequent removal from office of the presidency. We will soon see if the charge of bribery is included in his trial by the Senate.

The individual who reported this phone call is referred to as a ”whistleblower”, and is a very brave soul, someone who just committed career suicide. This person took a stand on principle, sacrificing career in the interest of doing the right thing. It has just been reported that a second such ”whistleblower” has also come forward, with even more incriminating information, with possible reports of alleged tax evasions.

Such people are few and far between. It is almost certain that their jobs will be lost, and the chances of getting a similar job are negligible. For that matter, as soon as the identity of these people are made public, their safety is in jeopardy. Trump has all but called for those people to be executed. He is suggesting that the people in question are guilty of treason. It is very likely that the identity of those people will soon be revealed. After that, Trump will have to assume responsibility for any harm which may come to them.

That report of one simple telephone conversation appears to have opened the flood gates, so that reports of other conversations are now being made public. Among other things, it is alleged that Trump told the Russians that he did not care if they meddled in American elections, as the Americans meddled in the elections of other countries around the world.

This particular phone call is a rather wild allegation, and has yet to be confirmed. If proven to be true, it marks one of the few times that Trump has spoken the truth. Of course the capitalists, the bourgeoisie, meddle in the elections of other countries, as well as their own. It is the common practice of all candidates for political office to seek ”dirt” on their opponents, in an effort to slander them and hopefully, win the election. As far as they are concerned, it is an ancient and time honoured method of campaigning for office. It is effective but also strictly illegal, a fact which seems to have escaped the attention of Trump.

More or less as a result of this, various starry eyed optimists are now questioning the sanity of Trump. They are now wondering if Trump knows the difference between right and wrong. With time and patience, such optimists may soon come to realize that Trump is a capitalist, a member of the bourgeoisie, and merely a typical member of that class. All such people are extremely rich and accustomed to doing whatever they want, and getting away with this. They have been doing this all their lives and do not concern themselves with such niceties as moral distinctions. At best, they may give some thought to legalities, but then that is the purpose of lawyers. They tend to have a small army of such people, ”legal representation”,  to tend to such inconveniences.

At least, that is the way it used to be, but is no longer. The revolutionary up surge of the people, and not just working people but members of the middle class, even those who tend to be staunch supporters of imperialism, have changed the situation dramatically. Now the monopoly capitalists, the bourgeoisie, are being held accountable, and that includes Trump. Of course he has responded with rage, threatening one and all, issuing countless tweets which the journalists are now largely ignoring, as they are so meaningless.

The political pressure is so intense that the Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, was forced to initiate impeachment proceedings against the president, something which she has long resisted. The late night comedians are the only ones who are really profiting from this. They have not had this much material with which to work since Nixon was in office. As the comedians pointed out, this is merely one more example of Trump doing that which he does best. He is forcing a woman to do exactly what she does not want to do.

The only requirement for impeachment is a simple majority of the House of Representatives, and that is almost certain to happen. Then, by law, the Senate is required to place the president on trial. In order to be removed from office, the president has to be voted guilty, by a two thirds majority, which is to say that sixty seven of the one hundred Senators must vote to convict. According to the Constitution, they must be convinced that he is guilty of ”high crimes and misdemeanors”. It is up to the Senate to determine that which constitutes such ”high crimes and misdemeanors”.

The situation has been compared to that of Nixon, when he was faced with impeachment and almost certain removal from office. But there are critical differences. Now the revolutionary motion is far stronger. The tricks which Nixon used to avoid removal from office and possible prison time are not available to Trump. Nixon made a deal with his Vice President, Jerry Ford. Nixon agreed to resign and allow Ford to automatically become president, but only in return for a presidential pardon. Of course Ford accepted, and Nixon avoided the humiliation of being removed from office. He also avoided any possible charges, such as ordering a burglary, which would almost certainly have resulted in jail time.

It is very doubtful that Pence will even consider such an offer from Trump, assuming Trump makes the offer. Pence may not be an intellectual giant, but neither is he entirely stupid. To grant Trump a presidential pardon would amount to political career suicide, at best. At worst, it could lead to further impeachment proceedings, this time against Pence, on the grounds of obstruction of justice and abuse of power.

Then too, at no point did Nixon involve his family in his crimes, which included the Watergate burglary. The same cannot be said of Trump, who has taken great delight in the matter. In particular, his daughter, son in law, and two older sons are allegedly deeply involved in various illegal acts, including such alleged crimes as election tampering, fraud, money laundering, obstruction of justice and tax evasion. It is not just the federal agencies who are investigating the Trump family. Numerous state agencies are also anxious to drag them into court. It should be noted that the president does not have the power to pardon people convicted of state crimes.

It is entirely possible that the one person whom Trump trusted completely, is the one person whom he had no reason to trust. This one person was his personal lawyer, and no doubt Trump thought that anything he said to his lawyer was strictly confidential. While there is considerable truth to this, the press is reporting that it is entirely possible that this lawyer was being paid by a federal agency within the White House, and not by Trump. It is quite possible that Trump chose to save a great deal of money by having the American tax payer foot the bill for his personal lawyer. If that is indeed the case, it was a huge mistake.

By law, the lawyer was representing the federal agency which was paying him, and not Trump. Any conversations between the lawyer and Trump are not covered by lawyer-client confidentiality. This lawyer, who was formerly the mayor of New York City, may well be forced to testify against Trump. As he was allegedly also involved in various crimes, orchestrated by Trump, he may also face various serious charges. If that is the case, he could well choose to testify against Trump, in return for a lighter sentence.

As long as Trump is president, the head of state, then he is quite well immune from prosecution. As soon as he is out of office, then it is open season on him. The same cannot be said of his associates and family members, as they can be charged at any time. Many, if not all of them, are facing some serious prison time. It remains to be seen if those same members of his family will turn upon Trump and each other.

As for those who dispute that, may I call your attention to Epstein, a man who was very likely as rich as Trump. Yet he was a convicted sex offender, a pedophile, one who made a great fortune selling underage children to various clients, many of whom were very rich, powerful members of society. In short, these people who bought children, fellow pedophiles, were also members of the same class, that of the bourgeoisie. No doubt these former clients of Epstein were concerned that he might be tempted to rat them out, as he was facing a life sentence.

To the great delight of these other pedophiles, those who have yet to be caught, Epstein very conveniently committed suicide while in prison. At least, that is the official version of events. Other people who have investigated the event, not in an official capacity, have come to completely different conclusions. They are convinced that Epstein was murdered. Either way, there are a great many rich and powerful pedophiles who are quite happy that Epstein cannot testify against them.

Perhaps the most serious allegation, given by a most devoted member of the establishment, a most devout supporter of capitalism, is that Trump is guilty of sedition. That is a most serious crime, similar to treason, and in years gone by, the penalty was the same, that of execution. Sedition consists of the crime of encouraging the people to rise up against the government, to undermine the government.

Surprising as this accusation is, there is some truth to this. The so called whistle blowers, those who report crimes which have taken place, are protected by law. This does not impress Trump, who is encouraging people to hunt these individuals down, or at least the people who have exposed the crimes which Trump has allegedly committed, and kill them. In short, Trump is defying the very constitution he has sworn to uphold. That is the very definition of sedition. After he is out of office, he may well be facing charges that are even more serious than I thought. The penalty for sedition may well be the firing squad. As the president is Commander in Chief of the American military, Trump is subject to military law. Military justice tends to be rather swift and unforgiving.

The important thing is that the members of the public, the American working class, is now paying strict attention to these developments. They are receiving a most valuable education. Their level of awareness is rising. They are becoming aware, if as yet only instinctively, of the awareness of classes. Now it is imperative for conscious people, those who are Marxists, to bring to the working people, the proletariat, the awareness of themselves as a class. Further, they must be made aware of the irreconcilable differences of the classes, of the necessity of revolution and the subsequent Dictatorship Of the Proletariat.

As a step in this direction, I can once again suggest that all American citizens join the two mainstream political parties, Democratic and Republican. It is open to all, is free to join, and as card carrying members of the parties, such party bosses decide the candidates to run for any and all political offices. Washington can then be flooded with Leftist people. For that matter, all state capitals can also be flooded.

This brings us to the revolutionary motion taking place in a different part of the world. The city of Hong Kong, an autonomous region of China with seven million people, is also experiencing revolutionary motion. The protests have been going on for several months now, and are growing in intensity. Many of the protesters are now wearing face masks, as well as gas masks, rubber soled shoes and gloves. They are throwing back the tear gas canisters which are being thrown by the police. They are also throwing petrol bombs, Molotov cocktails, which are glass bottles filled with gasoline. The police are responding by firing live ammunition. The violence is increasing in intensity. It is very likely that demonstrations are taking place in Mainland China, in support of their comrades in Hong Kong, but for the moment, the Chinese authorities have managed to keep this under wraps.

As yet, the biggest problem is one of Marxist revolutionary leadership. If they exist, the press is making no mention of this. Either way, it is just a matter of time before the true revolutionary leaders, very likely the veterans of the Chinese Cultural Revolution, make an appearance. Then we can expect the revolution to be focused and spread to the rest of China.

In Europe, France is also experiencing revolutionary motion, referred to as the Yellow Vest movement. The press is reporting that the movement is spreading to neighbouring countries, such as Belgium, Britain, Greece, the Netherlands and others. This is characteristic of revolutionary movements. In France also, the police are using tear gas and water cannons against the protesters. As yet the protesters have not turned on the fire hydrants in an attempt to reduce the pressure in the system, disabling the water cannon weapons.

The revolutionary motion which is going on in France is of particular interest for us, as historically that country has played a key role.

Engels had a few words to say about the country of France: ”France is the land where, more than anywhere else, the historical class struggles were each time fought out to a decision”. With that in mind, Lenin also had a few words to say concerning the country with a most proud revolutionary history. As he phrased it in State and Revolution, ”in the coming proletarian revolution, France may once again reveal itself as the classic land of the class struggle to a decision”.

For possibly the first time in history, we have proletarian revolutionary motion on three continents. As the history of revolutions confirms, it is rare that any revolution is confined to one country. They tend to spread. We can expect these revolutions to also spread.

It is entirely possible, if not likely, that we are on the eve of the world defeat of capitalism. The age of socialism is about to begin. A great deal depends upon us, conscious people. Now it is up to us to do our part. We have got to raise the level of awareness of all working people, to ensure that workers are aware of themselves as a class, with their own class interests, and with their duty to establish the Dictatorship Of the Proletariat.

As Lenin phrased it, (italics by Lenin), ”The severe and arduous struggle against capital was victoriously begun in Russia. It is now spreading to all countries.

It will end in the victory of the World Socialist Republic.”

33)Concerning The Proletarian Revolution and the Renegade Kautsky

In the early twentieth century, during the time in which Lenin worked, there were a number of very fine Marxist intellectuals. Not the least of these was a German gentleman by the name of Karl Kautsky. In fact, he was at one time the leading theoretician for the Second International. As such, he was, without doubt, a leader of the international working class. It was with good reason that Lenin had the utmost respect for Kautsky. But then the political situation changed dramatically, as the First World War was rapidly approaching. As a result of this, Kautsky moved to the centre, as it is called, and became a renegade, a revisionist, a traitor to socialism.

In 1914, at the outbreak of the First World War, Kautsky abandoned the Marxist position of internationalism and called for the ”defence of the fatherland”. Instead of calling for revolution, he called upon the working people of Germany, both proletarians and peasants, to support their ”own” bourgeoisie, to join in the slaughter of working people of other countries, so that the German capitalists could have a greater share of the colonies of the world.

Compare this to the true Marxist position, that of Lenin. He called upon the working people of all countries, the proletariat, to unite with the working people of all other countries, to overthrow the bourgeoisie of their particular countries and establish the Dictatorship Of the Proletariat.

In the case of Russia, the citizens had an added burden, in that the nobility and the landlords were in power and had first to be overthrown. This very thing happened in the spring of 1917, when Czar Nicholas was removed from power. At that point, the capitalists, the bourgeoisie, were able to establish a bourgeois democratic republic, a dictatorship of the bourgeoisie, which came to be known as the Karensky regime. Only at that point were the working people of Russia able to focus on overthrowing the capitalists. This they accomplished in the fall of that year, and established a truly democratic socialist republic, under the leadership of Lenin and the Communist Party. The class enemies of the working people, the nobility, landlords and capitalists, were crushed under the Dictatorship Of the Proletariat, DOP. (I should mention that I deliberately use the capital letters as a means of stressing the importance of this method of rule.)

This Dictatorship is the worst nightmare of every capitalist. The idea that the working people may turn the tables on them, to deprive them of any and all democratic rights, to separate them from their money and power, is too terrible for words. They literally cannot imagine having to work for a living. They are so accustomed to hiding behind lawyers, they think they are above the law. Under the current bourgeois democratic society, there is considerable truth to this.

Shortly after the successful Russian revolution of November 7, 1917, the working people of the world were deeply impressed by this new socialist republic. The Dictatorship Of the Proletariat became a common topic of conversation, at least among the most advanced workers of various countries. This was a source of deep concern to the capitalists, the bourgeoisie, of all countries, as the last thing they want is for their wage slaves to be made aware of the key to their independence. The more ignorant the workers are, the less they are aware of class antagonisms, the better.

The ex-Marxist, the renegade Kautsky, rose to the occasion. He knew Marxism in much the same way that a biblical scholar knows scripture. He was also in the service of the bourgeoisie, and as a loyal belly crawling boot licker, proceeded to distort the Marxist revolutionary theory, removing anything that is not acceptable to the bourgeoisie. Kautsky was very accomplished in the use of sophistry to transform Marxism into a bourgeois liberal theory, one which recognizes the non revolutionary class struggle of the proletariat. By using this revisionist Marxist nonsense, everything is recognized in Marxism except the revolutionary methods of struggle, the propaganda and preparation of those methods, and the preparation of the working class for revolution and the subsequent Dictatorship Of the Proletariat.

At that time, Communists referred to themselves as Social Democrats, as those who fight for socialism also fight for democracy. So Lenin was one of the founders of the Russian Social Democratic Labor Party, the RSDLP. Germany also had a fine Communist Party, or German Social Democratic Labor Party, at least up until the time of the outbreak of war. Most of the members of this Party became renegades, calling for defence of the fatherland. It was Karl Liebknecht and Rosa Luxembourg who were notable exceptions, adhering to principle, remaining true Marxists, calling for revolution and the subsequent Dictatorship Of the Proletariat. They were true Marxists, and did their best to prepare the German common people for the German revolution.

It is very likely that the Russian revolution would have failed, if not for the leadership of Lenin. The capitalists of the time were well aware of this, as they are now. After all, they are not entirely stupid. That is the reason they are so determined to neutralize any and all leaders of the working class. This neutralization can take various forms. One such form is that of buying off the leaders, and in fact a great many union leaders are in the pay of the capitalists. Another form is that of murder, although the capitalists are careful to avoid the use of that word. They refer to it as ”terminate with extreme prejudice”. The German capitalists faced the fact that Liebknecht and Luxembourg were completely unreasonable, refused any and all bribes, and were consequently ”terminated with extreme prejudice”. In other words, they were murdered. The German revolution of 1919 was subsequently crushed, as the German working people were deprived of their leaders.

This murder of working class leaders continues to this day. One example is that of Martin Luther King in 1968. Even though he was a pacifist, he was not spared for that reason. He was a leader of the Afro American people and a man of principle. He absolutely would not accept a bribe, so of course the capitalists murdered him.

I mention this because it is important and not because I am trying to scare anyone. The point is that the working people need true Marxist leaders. If the working people are deprived of such leaders, then the revolution is likely to fail. The reason is quite simple. Those who refer to themselves as Marxists, but are in fact revisionists who are in the service of the capitalists, will assume a leadership role and divert the revolution onto some harmless path of social reform.

For that reason, those who choose to assist in raising the level of awareness of the working class, to fight for revolution and the Dictatorship Of the Proletariat, should take every reasonable precaution. As a suggestion, this could include writing articles anonymously and posting them on the internet. Other suggestions include keeping as many people as close to you as possible, bearing in mind that the capitalists take great delight in sending into the working class those who are paid ”confidential informers”, otherwise known as rats. Also consider the fact that Lenin was forced to disguise himself as a peasant and flee to Finland, where he prepared for the approaching revolution by writing State and Revolution. As well, he and the Central Committee planned the insurrection, from a rather safe distance.

Now a similar revolutionary situation exists. I have previously maintained that the American workers, and in particular the American women, both working class and middle class, are leading the international working class movement. I was mistaken, but it is fair to say that they are in the vanguard of the international working class revolutionary movement.

The working people of Hong Kong are also taking part in a revolutionary movement, although it is doubtful that many of them are aware of this. The problem is that the movement appears to have no leaders. Or it could be that the leaders are keeping a low profile, staying ”underground”, as it is called, in hiding, so as not to be arrested by the Chinese authorities.

The Chinese capitalists, the bourgeoisie, were able to restore capitalism in China after the death of Mao. At that time, there were a great many members of the Chinese Communist Party. No doubt, many of these members were really agents of the bourgeoisie, determined to crush the Dictatorship Of the Proletariat. Equally without doubt, many others were dedicated Marxists, and it is quite possible that they changed their tactics, went underground, and continued as leaders of the Chinese people, but in secret. Such people, Chinese Marxists, could well be directing the Chinese revolutionary movement, including the uprising in Hong Kong. That remains to be seen.

It is clear that common people in other countries of the world are marching in support of the people of Hong Kong. As Hong Kong is a city, it is reasonable to assume that the protesters are workers and middle class people, petty bourgeois, and not peasants. It is also very likely that the common people of mainland China, including the peasants, are supporting the people of Hong Kong. As yet the Chinese authorities have managed to suppress any reports of the press to this effect.

The current political situation is now similar to the situation which existed in 1917, in that the proletarian revolution is now a practical issue in a number of countries, not just in America and China. We can expect the most advanced strata of the proletariat to soon be discussing the Dictatorship Of the Proletariat. We can also expect the capitalists to respond by singing the praises of the pamphlet by Kautsky, titled The Dictatorship of the Proletariat.

As the title suggests, Kautsky discusses that which Lenin refers to as the ”very essence of proletarian revolution”, the Dictatorship Of the Proletariat. Lenin goes on to say that ”this is a question that is of the greatest importance for all countries, especially for the advanced ones….this is the key problem of the entire proletarian class struggle. It is therefore necessary to pay particular attention to it.” For that reason I can only suggest a careful reading of the book by Lenin, The Proletarian Revolution and the Renegade Kautsky.

In the book by Lenin, he provides a very sharp and clear definition of the dictatorship, as Marx had in mind. This stands in stark contrast to the definition -or distortion- provided by Kautsky. As Lenin phrased it:

”Dictatorship is rule based directly upon force and unrestricted by any laws.

The revolutionary dictatorship of the proletariat is rule won and maintained by the use of violence by the proletariat against the bourgeoisie, rule that is unrestricted by any laws.”

It is to be hoped that the preceding quote by Lenin should be printed out in poster form and hung on the wall of every class conscious worker in the country.

Lenin also points out the nonsense that Kautsky spits out concerning ”pure democracy”. In fact, democracy is a system of government in which a state apparatus is used by one class to subjugate another class. The class of slave owners crushing slaves amounts to a democracy for the slave owners. The class of nobility crushing peasants amounts to a democracy for the nobility. The class of capitalists, bourgeoisie, crushing the workers, proletariat, amounts to a democracy for the bourgeoisie. The approaching revolution will give birth to the class of workers, proletariat, crushing the capitalists, the bourgeoisie, which will amount to democracy for the proletariat, the Dictatorship Of the Proletariat.  Any way you look at it, there is absolutely nothing ”pure” about democracy! In fact it is an oxymoron, a contradiction in terms. It makes about as much sense as ”friendly” fire, ”secret” bombing, or my all time favourite, ”holy” war. As if there is anything holy about war!

The point must be stressed to the working people that we can only speak of class democracy.

There are loyal servants of the capitalists, the bourgeoisie, who claim to be socialists, even Marxists. These flunkies of the capitalists, otherwise known as ”labour lieutenants of the capitalist class”, will no doubt maintain that there is no need for the Dictatorship Of the Proletariat  because we have a majority. They will conveniently overlook that which Marx and Engels explained:

The Dictatorship Of the Proletariat is necessary :

to break down the resistance of the bourgeoisie

to inspire the reactionaries with fear

to maintain the authority of the armed people against the bourgeoisie

that the proletariat may forcibly hold down its adversaries

It is possible to overthrow the capitalists at one stroke, as happened on November 7, 1917, in Russia, at the time of the insurrection. But then for a rather long time after the revolution, the capitalists will continue to have a number of practical advantages. This includes money, valuable articles such as artwork, superior education and skills in matters of management and so forth. The mere international connections of the capitalists give them an enormous advantage. In short, even after the revolution, the capitalists will still remain stronger than the workers.

To suggest, as Kautsky does, that a mere majority rule is sufficient, after the revolution is, as Lenin says, ”the acme of stupidity, the silliest prejudice of a common liberal, an attempt to deceive the people by concealing from them a well established historical truth. This historical truth is that in every profound revolution, the prolonged, stubborn and desperate resistance of the exploiters, who for a number of years retain important practical advantages over the exploited is the rule. Never …will the exploiters submit to the decision of the exploited majority without trying to make use of their advantages in a last desperate battle, or series of battles.” (all italics by Lenin)

Lenin goes on to say that the transition from capitalism to communism takes an entire historical epoch. By communism is meant the abolition of all classes, which is not about to happen any time soon. In the mean time, as Lenin phrased it, ”the overthrown exploiters -who had not expected their overthrow, never believed it possible, never conceded the thought of it -throw themselves with energy grown tenfold, with furious passion and hatred grown a hundred fold, into the battle for the recovery of the ‘paradise’, of which they were deprived, on behalf of their families, who had been leading such a sweet and easy life and whom now the ‘common herd’ is condemning to ruin and destitution (or to common labour)… In these circumstances…to talk about  majority and minority, about pure democracy, about dictatorship being unnecessary and about equality between the exploiter and the exploited! What infinite stupidity and abysmal philistinism are needed for this!” (all emphasis by Lenin)

I have gone into this at length in order to impress upon common people, by which I mean workers and middle class people, the necessity of crushing the capitalists after the revolution. As for those who are skeptical, consider the fact that the capitalists were able to return to power in both Russia and China.

The current international situation is revolutionary. It is very likely that a revolution which breaks out in one country will spread to other countries. The chance of any particular revolution being successful depends a great deal upon the leaders. The leaders who are true Marxists will provide proper direction.

As for those who scoff at leaders, may I suggest a comparison. It may help to think of the revolutionary motion as a ship upon the seas. Without a competent captain to chart a proper course for this ship, such a vessel is bound to wander aimlessly, at the mercy of the wind and waves. But with a competent captain, that same ship will head straight for port.

At the moment, the people of Hong Kong are in a state of revolt, and have been for many weeks. The press reports that it shows no sign of weakening. If anything, it appears to be gaining strength. Most of the protesters are wearing face masks, so that they cannot be identified. Many are wearing helmets, in order to protect their heads from the clubs of the police. They are also wearing gloves, so that the tear gas containers can be picked up and thrown back at the police. Rocks and sticks are also being thrown. The posts which contain the cameras are also being pushed over, and now petrol bombs, commonly referred to as Molotov cocktails are being used against the police. The students are now on strike, as well as many workers. The airports, subways and highways are being disrupted. All of this is characteristic of a full blown revolution. The protesters are also changing their tactics, attacking in different parts of the city, using modern technology to keep in touch with each other. All of this implies a certain level of organization. Someone, or some group of people, are calling the shots.

The Hong Kong city officials have responded by spraying the protesters with blue water, so that the dye will mark them as protesters, making them more easy to identify. The police have now resorted to firing warning shots. This is an indication that the tension within the city is becoming ever more intense. The officials on Mainland China are more concerned, and have issued a thinly veiled threat.

Any attempt by Mainland China to crush the rebellion in Hong Kong could trigger a full blown revolution, not just in China but also in other countries of the world. As there are a great many Chinese troops stationed at the border with Hong Kong, this is a distinct possibility.

If nothing else, this should provide the working people of all countries with a certain sense of urgency to prepare for socialist revolution and the Dictatorship Of the Proletariat. A careful reading of the pamphlet by Lenin, The Proletarian Revolution and the Renegade Kautsky, should be part of that preparation.

We will know that the world socialist revolution is focused properly when the posters and signs of the demonstrators read:

Dictatorship Of the Proletariat!

Scientific Socialism!

Workers of the World, Unite!
