Students Protesting Climate Change

Lately a young lady, a lovely 16 year old by the name of Greta Thunberg, has been making headlines. She was recently voted the Time Magazine Person of the Year, beating out other finalists, including Donald Trump. So of course Trump did that which he does best. He insulted her. Perhaps Trump should be nominated for the Ignoramus Person of the Year. He certainly has my vote.

Greta Thunberg is a student activist, famous for initiating a School Strike For the Climate. This has apparently triggered a student protest movement, one which has since become wide spread. This is excellent news. It is an indication that the revolutionary movements in various countries, being spear headed by America, France and Hong Kong, are spreading to the younger generation, as well as other countries.

The last thing we want to do is to discourage such revolutionary motion, on the part of the students, as well as people who are not so young. This in no way changes the fact that the climate is constantly changing, and has been since the creation of the world.

We may point out that recently, by which I mean within the last hundred thousand years, there have been three ice ages in North America. In terms of geological ages, a hundred thousand years is a very short time, which is the reason I use the word recent.

At the time the glaciers covered the continent, a great deal of water was tied up as ice, so to speak, and the levels of the oceans of the world were considerably reduced. No doubt this had an effect on the climate in various parts of the world, so we can say that the dramatic drop in temperatures on one continent was indirectly responsible for climate change on a global level.

We can honestly say that no one knows precisely the cause of the ice ages in North America, although various theories have been put forward. Nor do we know the causes of the warming of North America, which resulted in the melting of the glaciers. The only thing we know for sure is that people had nothing to do with this. At that time, there were far to few people, and the only green house gasses they released were in the form of camp fires.

It may help to point out that classes exist all around the world, and that it is the class of capitalists, the bourgeoisie, who are the problem. Their one and only concern is that of making a profit, and not just any profit, but the maximum possible profit. If this huge profit results in the fouling of the water we drink and the air we breath, then so be it. They consider this the cost of doing business.

To say that the climate is changing as a result of the burning of fossil fuels is at best a stretch. Further, to say that the science supports this belief is supremely optimistic, as the scientists are careful to say that which the capitalists want them to say. To say anything else is to commit career suicide, as our political leaders, the politicians, are in the service of the capitalists, the bourgeoisie.

I realize that is a strong statement, and I am sure that a great many people will be insulted by this. Yet I stand by that which I have said. I have been conducting research for many years, challenging theories in various fields of science. As a result of that research, I have written several books documenting the distortions and outright lies of the scientists, some of whom are highly respected. At the same time, I have provided directions for determining the existence of a great many species, all of which are thought to have gone extinct a very long time ago. They are not extinct. They can be located quite easily and inexpensively. The scientists have not discovered them because the scientists are careful not to look for them.

With the help of the members of the public, common people, we will very soon prove that there was no mass extinction of dinosaurs. That ”mass extinction” is a mere fairy tale, as is the ”mass extinction of megafauna” here in North America, at the end of the last ice age. Further, there was no mass extinction of reptiles. That includes the flying reptiles, pterosaurs or pterodactyls, and several orders of swimming reptiles, fresh water as well as salt water. We should add that within each reptilian order, there are probably dozens of species. It is safe to say that most reptilian species, if not all, are predators, man eaters. Lest we forget, there is a separate species of human living among us in North America, commonly referred to as Bigfoot or Sasquatch. Naturally, the scientists are careful to ignore all evidence of their existence.

May I suggest that all this talk of ”climate change due to greenhouse gas emissions” is a ”red herring”, a decoy dreamed up by the bourgeoisie, in an effort to divert the revolutionary movement onto some harmless path of social reform. As so many people are now deeply concerned with climate change, it appears to be having some effect.

In the interests of bringing clarity to a situation which has been deliberately obscured by the bourgeoisie, may I suggest to all climate activists, and not just students, that they consider the wars that are currently raging in various parts of the world. These wars are a natural result of the competition between the so called ”great powers”, the highly developed countries, those who are determined to rule the world. At the same time, consider the poverty and slums, the hunger, the homeless people living on the streets of those same countries. The capitalists, the bourgeoisie, the people in charge of those countries, can afford to spend mountains of money on war, but cannot afford to feed and house their own citizens. Then there are the immigrants, people desperate enough to risk their lives, in an attempt to find a better life for themselves and their children. These people are being thrown into prison, separated from their children, who are also being thrown into prison. Their only crime is that of being poor and desperate.

That is merely a small sampling of the butchery and misery for which the capitalists, the bourgeoisie, are responsible. Bear in mind that those are the same people who control the careers of the scientists. Any scientist who dares to suggest that I am right, is sure to commit career suicide, never again to earn a living working in any field of science. That is just the way it is.

Those are the same people who swear that climate change is taking place as a result of green house gas emissions, and that we have got to change our way of life. Or words to that effect. It is difficult, if not impossible to figure out exactly what they are saying, if only because they are trying to confuse the issue. In that department, that of spreading confusion, they are doing a splendid job. I just do not believe a word they are saying.

I am certainly not suggesting that those who are politically active, opposing climate change, should quit being politically active. Far from it. I am suggesting that those same people consider that which I am saying, and perhaps assist in the search for one or more of the animals which I have listed in my books. The directions for finding those animals are clear and simple. I can also suggest that Americans, in particular, should become card carrying members of the two mainstream political parties. That way, as party bosses, they can send Leftist people to Washington, and those politicians can fight to oppose climate change.

Incidentally, I consider the search for these prehistoric animals to be a part of the class struggle, merely a different battle ground. If nothing else, they are part of our heritage, one of which we have been robbed. Aside from that, there is a desperate urgency involved in locating the flying reptiles, pterodactyls, as they are currently preying upon women and children. Females of child bearing age they attack because they smell the blood, and children are easier to pick up and carry away. This takes place in the darkness in open areas, the victims are taken to caves in the mountains, and the remains are never recovered. In the vast majority of cases, the families of these women and children never know what happened to their loved ones. Their suffering, mental anguish, never ends. I can only express my most sincere condolences, and regret that I do not have better news.

It is also true that these same animals are able to kill horses and cattle, the livelihood of so many farmers. Their livestock is found dead and mutilated in the morning. As long as their livestock is left outside after sundown, this death and mutilation will continue. Sad but true.

I have also given direction to prove the existence of the Sasquatch, or Giants, as I refer to them. Those who first make contact with these people, a separate species of human, will no doubt be supremely proud. That is the dream of every scientist.

The energy and enthusiasm of those involved in opposing climate change will soon be focused on the revolutionary motion, that of overthrowing the bourgeoisie and establishing the Dictatorship Of the Proletariat. At the moment, there are various protest movements in the country, fighting for social reform, of one sort or another. It is only when those same movements come together to fight for scientific socialism, that real lasting change will take place. Until then, the best those well meaning members of such protest groups can hope to achieve is paltry reform.

The correct Marxist understanding of the class struggle has to be made available to all people, working class and middle class, young and old, students and retirees. All must be encouraged to become politically active. The revolution is on the horizon. The only way forward is scientific socialism. The only alternative is a utopian dream. The bourgeoisie have to be overthrown and crushed under the heel of the working class, the Dictatorship Of the Proletariat. Only then can we develop clean sources of energy, clean up our environment, providing one and all with clean water and clean air. This will only happen when humanity is relieved of the profit motive.

In the interests of uniting the various movements towards the common goal of overthrowing the bourgeoisie, of raising the level of awareness of all working people, we can suggest the following slogans:

Scientific Socialism!

Dictatorship Of the Proletariat!

Workers of the World, Unite!

Impeachment of Trump and Trial by Senate

The holiday season has brought news of great joy to countless people. President Donald John Trump is now officially impeached. Millions of people could not have asked for a finer Christmas present. It is just too bad that such a gift cannot be wrapped and placed under the tree.

The cheers and celebration of the progressive people on the Left stands in stark contrast to the weeping and wailing of the reactionaries on the Right. The day the House of Representatives passed two articles of impeachment is a day which will ”live in infamy”. They are afraid this is the beginning of the end of the American Empire. We can only hope and pray they are correct.

The House of Representatives, or the Congress, is currently controlled by the Democratic Party, led by the Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi. The Democratic Party presents themselves as the party of the middle class, the ”little guy”. By contrast, the Republican Party is presented as the party of the rich, the business people, those who are responsible for creating wealth and jobs. This great wealth of the capitalists is supposed to ”trickle down” to the ”less fortunate”.

This fairy tale is a world of fantasy which the capitalists, the bourgeoisie, have created. In their dream world, there is no working class, the proletariat, just as there is no capitalist class, the bourgeoisie. The only class they refer to is the middle class, and that includes almost everyone. It may help to think of this as a Sesame Street for adults.

This imaginary creation of the capitalists stands in stark contrast to reality. The fact is that we live under capitalism in its highest form, that of monopoly, technically referred to as imperialism. Those who support monopoly capitalism, imperialism, are of course referred to as imperialists. These people are completely reactionary. There is absolutely nothing progressive about imperialism. The imperialists, and those who support the imperialists, are concerned only with the maintenance of the wealth and power of the class they represent, the monopoly capitalists, the bourgeoisie. That is the point which has to be driven home to the vast majority of working people, the proletariat.

The two mainstream political parties, Democrats and Republicans, serve the same class. The party bosses, those who are card carrying members of the parties, are those who work ”behind the scenes”, and ”call the shots”, or ”pull the strings” of their ”puppets”, those who are elected to political office. Excuse the metaphors, but the use of such popular terms may be the best way to persuade the vast majority of working people, the proletariat, of the existence of classes, of the antagonism between the classes, and the absolute necessity of becoming politically active.

As Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi has long resisted the calls from the progressive members of her party, the Democrats, to impeach Trump. No doubt the Democratic party bosses decided not to impeach Trump, as they decided that is not in the best interests of the class they serve, the bourgeoisie. Yet the pressure ”from below”, which is to say the members of the public, the working class, proletariat, and the middle class, technically referred to as the petty bourgeois, was so intense, she was forced to take action. Hence, two articles of impeachment.

So far so good, all in accordance with the law of the land, the Constitution, which states quite clearly that it is up to the House of Representatives to impeach a president who is suspected of being guilty of ”Treason, Bribery or Other High Crimes and Misdemeanors”. Now it is up to the Speaker of the House to send those articles of impeachment to the Senate, so that Trump can go on trial and be judged by that Senate. All of this is in accordance with the Constitution.

It is not by accident that Nancy Pelosi was dressed in black at the time of the passing of the articles of impeachment against Trump. Such attire is traditionally worn at funerals, as an indication of mourning. She also scolded the members of the Democratic party who started to applaud, much as a school teacher corrects a class of students who are misbehaving. Shame on you, members of The Squad!

Now Nancy Pelosi is looking for a loop hole, some way to prevent or at least delay such a trial. She is quite cheerfully pointing out that the Constitution makes it clear that the articles of impeachment must be referred to the Senate, but it does not say when those articles must be sent. This tactic of stalling is characteristic of the bourgeoisie. Perhaps they think the working class will lose interest and forget about such little details as removing Trump from office.

The journalists are reporting that this stalling on the part of Pelosi provides her with ”leverage”. Perhaps a reality check on the part of the journalists is in order. Even the Senate majority leader, a fellow Republican of Trump, is wondering just what ”leverage” there is in not forcing him to not conduct a trial, one to which he is dead set opposed! He is being threatened with not having to deal with the articles of impeachment, which is the very thing he so desperately wants!

No doubt Pelosi will present the articles of impeachment to the Senate at the point when the pressure ”from below”, from the members of the public, the working class and the middle class, becomes sufficiently intense. As the working people are so focused on this impeachment process, that should take place any day now.

The details of the trial have yet to be worked out, and that is a bone of contention. The Democratic senators want a proper trial, complete with witnesses and documents. The Republican senators want a ”kangaroo court”, a quick vote to acquit Trump of all charges, ignoring all evidence to the contrary. Such a procedural detail requires a simple majority vote, and as there are fifty three Republicans but only forty seven Democrats, it will require four Republican senators to ”cross the floor” and vote with the Democrats, in order to have a proper trial.

By contrast, two thirds of the Senators have to vote guilty in order to have Trump removed from office. In effect, the Senate is the jury, but not to be confused with an impartial jury, as is required in a court of law. The majority leader of the Senate made it quite clear that he will vote to acquit, regardless of the evidence presented, and will pressure the members of his party to also vote to acquit. We can expect nothing better from such people.

This is not to say that the anticipated trial by the Senate does not concern us. Far from it. Our goal, the goal of Marxists, conscious people, Communists, is to raise the level of awareness of the working class, the proletariat. We want them to become aware of themselves as a class, with interests which are diametrically opposed to the interests of the capitalists, the bourgeoisie. The best way to do this is to use examples of that which concerns them, and that certainly includes the anticipated trial by the Senate. We must make it clear that Trump is not the problem. Whether he remains in office or not, the class he represents, the bourgeoisie, will remain in power. Nothing of substance will change.

With that in mind, we can also suggest that all American citizens, members of the public, working people as well as middle class, take that one extra small step of joining the two political parties, Democrat and Republican. After all, the capitalists say that if we do not like the way things are, then we should ”change it from within”. The least we can do is take them at their word. What better way of changing the system from within than by becoming card carrying members of both parties? As party bosses, American citizens can flood Washington with Leftist people. Just think, Leftist people running for office on behalf of both parties. This should keep campaign expenses down to a minimum, as such people will be running against themselves. Who cares if they go to Washington as a Democrat or as a Republican? For that matter, both parties can endorse someone such as Sanders for president. As for those who are concerned with the age and health of Sanders, bear in mind that other Leftist people are available. Such people include Michael Moore. I think that lad would make a fine candidate for president.

Incidentally, I am not joking. I have the utmost respect for that gentleman. He is clearly a self made man, a member of the working class who has become successful as a result of great sacrifice and hard work. He truly cares about working people.

Of course, the choice of a person to run for president is a little detail for Americans to decide.

Most members of the public, including the most advanced members of the working class, are confused concerning the events unfolding in Washington. Most reasonable people would assume that the members of the White House Resistance, those who published an editorial in the New York Times, would welcome the impeachment and removal of Trump from office. After all, they announced their intention to stop Trump ”one way or another”. What better way to stop Trump than by impeachment and removal from office?

Yet those same people have decided against that course of action. Much as they would love to remove Trump from office, they are even more afraid of the revolutionary motion which is sweeping the country. They are well aware that almost all Americans are watching this impeachment process. Their greatest fear is that those same Americans will in turn become politically active. In short, the bourgeoisie are afraid of revolution.

The situation is certainly revolutionary. Many millions of Americans, those who were formerly apathetic, are now becoming politically active. They are taking an interest in the impeachment process and the anticipated trial by the senate. It is safe to say that the vast majority of these people are honest, hard working, law abiding, tax paying citizens. It is also safe to say that the vast majority of politicians who represent these people are anything but honest, hard working, law abiding, tax paying citizens. Now it is a matter of persuading these honest working people that they are members of a working class, with interests which are diametrically opposed to the interests of the capitalist class, the bourgeoisie. Most politicians serve the class of capitalists, and that class is determined to hold onto power, at all costs.

The anticipated trial by the senate of President Trump should help to raise the level of awareness of the working class. At the very least, it gives conscious people, Marxists, the opportunity to explain that which is taking place. The fundamental principles of Marxist revolutionary theory have to be explained. We can use this as an example of bourgeois democracy, which is nothing more than democracy for the bourgeoisie. At the same time we can compare this to proletarian democracy, in the form of the Dictatorship Of the Proletariat, which is a far superior form of democracy.

The fact is that many millions of people have been closely watching the impeachment proceedings. The reason they are so interested is that they are deeply dissatisfied, not content to live in the old way, demanding change. They are instinctively gravitating towards socialism, as yet unaware of that which they are experiencing. By contrast, the capitalist, the bourgeoisie, are supremely well aware of that which is happening. They know that they cannot live and rule in the old way, must now change their method of rule, but are unsure how to proceed. This is the very definition of a revolutionary situation.

It is just a matter of time before the crisis matures to the point of explosion. The working class could spontaneously revolt at any time. It could happen any day now, or the capitalists could force the issue, perhaps with a declaration of martial law. Either way, the revolution can best be understood as a force of nature, an act of God, because that is exactly the case. It is not about to hold off until the working class, the proletariat, is prepared to seize political power. It is absolutely essential now to prepare people for the revolution and the subsequent Dictatorship Of the Proletariat. Workers now must be trained for the duties they will have to assume after the revolution. What better way to train them for leadership roles than by becoming card carrying members of the two parties, party bosses?

No doubt there are a great many people, including those who consider themselves to be Marxists, who are of the opinion that the capitalists, the bourgeoisie, can be overthrown by the ”democratic process”, that of voting into power Leftist people. Such is not about to happen, and the best way to persuade the millions of working class people of this fact is to encourage them to do just that. It will no doubt be interesting to see the response of the bourgeoisie to this challenge to their authority.

The point we want to drive home – not only to the working class but also to the optimistic middle class intellectuals – is that it does not matter how many Leftist people we send to Washington. Our goal is to raise the level of awareness of the working class. With that in mind, our goal and our slogans should read:

Prepare For the Dictatorship Of the Proletariat!

54)Pterodactyls and Poison Gas

In rather remote areas of the country, farmers and ranchers are being plagued by something they do not understand. Cows and horses are being found in the morning, dead and mutilated. People are terrified, properly so. The animals which survive this attack are reported to be traumatized. Even dogs are afraid to go outside the house.

The gruesome details are that there ”is no blood”, which is to say that it is clear the animals did not die as a result of wounds, which is to say trauma, as that is the correct scientific phrase. In popular terms, they were not shot, stabbed or killed, at least not by humans. In addition, it is also clear that they were also not killed by predators such as wolves, bears or mountain lions. Careful examinations of the areas surrounding the carcasses has revealed no sign of humans, either foot prints or vehicle tracks. As well, the owner of these animals were able to determine no sign of other predators. Bear in mind that the people who live in such areas tend to be rather accomplished in such matters of investigation. We can believe their reports, as they are accurate.

It is thought that ”someone or something” drained all the blood out of the animals, as there was no blood flow from the wounds. That is utter nonsense, as the animals are mutilated only after they are first killed. Any school child is well aware that the heart quits beating after the animal dies, so that any wounds sustained post mortem, do not bleed.

As a result of this, certain individuals with active imaginations have proposed that these animals were killed and mutilated by ”extra terrestials”, or E.T., to use the standard abbreviation. Such an explanation is entertaining, and may serve to sell books and magazines. In modern times, we can add videos to the list. It also adds to the confusion.

Of course, the police have been notified, as it was at first thought to be an act of vandalism. The only thing they could do was take a report and investigate. They in turn came to the same conclusion, which is that these animals were not killed by people, and very likely not killed by animals. In scientific jargon, this is referred to as ”etiology unknown.”

The only people who could correctly explain the death and mutilation of these animals are the scientists, and they are doing that which they do best. They are remaining silent. They are supremely well aware that such an explanation would almost certainly cost them their careers. The class of people who are currently in charge, the monopoly capitalists, the bourgeoisie, are determined that nothing will change. Any scientist who challenges any of the currently accepted scientific theories, such as the mass extinction of dinosaurs, is subject to immediate dismissal.

The bourgeoisie cannot threaten me with career suicide, as it is a little late. I did that to myself many years ago. I no longer have a career.

With that in mind, I will explain that the animal responsible for this butchery is the pterodactyl, an animal thought to be extinct for many millions of years. It most certainly is not extinct, and in fact is alive and well. It preys upon animals as well as people, and is even more dangerous that I thought.

It does not kill these prey animals by sinking its claws into them, as I first suspected, but by ”gassing” them. It releases a ”cloud of smoke”, to use the popular expression, which is not smoke at all but toxic. In other words, a cloud of poison gas. This immediately kills the prey animal, and then the pterodactyl consumes the parts of the animal which are readily available. The genitals are frequently the first thing the animal devours. This is quickly followed by the eyes, ears, nose and tongue. As well, the large intestine is frequently ripped out of the rectal orifice. As there is a great deal of nourishment contained in this organ, it makes complete sense.

There are those who object that it would make more sense to rip the carcass apart. That is true, but the predators, the pterodactyls, are very light and the hides of such animals are very thick. Given sufficient time, no doubt the pterodactyl could manage this, but time is not on the side of the pterodactyl. The animal is nocturnal, and their every instinct is to return to the safety of the cave before daylight.

This animal is a marvel of evolution. It is perhaps the one and only predator to have evolved the ability to kill their prey with poison gas. This method of killing is safe for the pterodactyl, as the prey animal is killed at a distance, minimizing the danger to the predator.

The only question now is the identity of the gas the animal uses to kill these animals. Possibly the only way to determine this is through an analysis of the blood of the prey animal. Such a sample would have to be drawn shortly after the death of the prey animal and immediately sent to a laboratory. With any luck, the chemists could then determine traces of the poison.

I cannot imagine any other way to determine the poison gas used to kill the animals.

As for the ranchers who are losing their stock to these predators, I can only say that such predation will continue to take place, as long as the animals are kept outside after sundown.

It is my most sincere hope that members of the public will find this article helpful and become inspired to do that which the scientists dare not, which is to become active, to prove the existence of these animals, among others. Perhaps it will help to think of this as being part of the class struggle, that of the proletariat against the bourgeoisie, because that is precisely the case.

With that in mind, may I close the article with Marxist salutations:

Workers of the World, Unite!

Introduction to Political and Scientific Articles by Gerald McIsaac

For many years, I have been working on my science project. This includes my inventions, such as the Power Bike, which dramatically improves upon the efficiency of the conventional bicycle. In fact, it gives the human powered bicycle three times the power. Then there is the not so little matter of my plan to harness the magnetic field of the earth to generate electricity.

As well, I have written three books, The Second American Revolution, Occupy Movement and the Dictatorship Of the Proletariat, and possibly my most famous work, Bird From Hell, Third Edition. The title of the last book is a none too subtle reference to the pterodactyl.

These are books of science. In Bird From Hell, I document the existence of numerous prehistoric animals, those which are thought to be extinct. They are not. I have documented that there was no mass extinction of dinosaurs, just as there was no mass extinction of megafauna in North America. The directions for locating these animals is outlined in the book.

The fact is that the scientists are well aware of the existence of these animals, and that includes the Sasquatch, otherwise known as Bigfoot. Yet they choose to remain silent, and for good reason. To even suggest these animals exist is to commit career suicide.

In effect, science has been turned upon its head. Instead of proving these animals exist, the scientists are denying them. Instead of challenging scientific theories, scientists are now memorizing these theories. That is the only way in which they can continue to earn a living working in science.

The problem does not lie with the scientists, but with the capitalists. They are determined that nothing should change. Everything must remain precisely the way it is. In short, they are determined to destroy our civilization, as that is the very approach which brought down so many civilizations in the past.

That is the reason I wrote my Political and Scientific Articles. The politicians cannot threaten me with career suicide, as I do not have a career. I committed career suicide many years ago. Even though I cannot earn a living working in science, my conscience is clear. Now, I just work in science, but without getting paid for this.

In my book, I am suggesting that all Americans become card carrying members of the two mainstream political parties, Democratic and Republican. That way, as party bosses, they will determine the various candidates for political office. As a result, Washington can be flooded with Leftist people, Republican as well as Democratic. Both parties can nominate Sanders for president, and that will save everyone a great deal of money on campaign expenses.

Of course, I am suggesting a great deal more, as that is the reason there are so many articles. So feel free to sit back, relax and enjoy reading my plan to make the lives of Trump, and a great many other capitalists, completely miserable.

Gerald McIsaac

3)Lenin: Elections and the Dictatorship Of the Proletariat

It is no secret that for some time now I have been encouraging Americans to join the two mainstream political parties, Democratic and Republican. Of course I am mainly concerned with the working class, proletarians, and the more advanced those workers are, the better. No doubt at least some of those workers are considered to be Leftist people, and of course there are a great many middle class people, petty bourgeois, who are also Leftist. With a little effort, it is possible to flood Washington with such Leftist people, those who consider themselves to be Communists, Marxists, socialists, independent socialists, or just plain folks who are determined to make a difference. Contrary to popular belief, this is not as difficult and expensive as is commonly thought. In fact, it is real simple and just as easy, not at all expensive. The only reason it has not been tried before is because no one has thought of this.

This requires a little explanation. Capitalism has long since reached the monopoly stage, that which is technically referred to as imperialism. This highest stage of capitalism has certain features, as was documented by Lenin many years ago. Among other things, he pointed out that ”imperialism is reaction, right down the line.” As a result of this, everything in America is now for sale. That includes any and all political offices. Such offices are considered to be commodities, to be sold to the highest bidder.

The most expensive office is of course the presidency, and in fact it is reported that in the last federal election, the Democratic candidate for president spent one billion dollars, and she lost!

People are well aware that a congressional seat, by which I mean an office that is held by a member of the House of Representatives, also costs a great deal, possibly several million dollars. That is far beyond the price range of common people, so very few working people even give it a thought. Then again, they can take my advice and may be elected at almost no expense.

Almost all adult American citizens are eligible to join the two parties. All that is required is an application form to be filled out, and this can be done online. It costs nothing. Then in several weeks the citizen will receive, in the mail, a card which identifies the holder as a member of the party. Such card carrying members are referred to as ”party bosses”, because that is precisely what they are. Such party bosses determine the individual to run for any and all political offices. This means that as long as the party bosses choose the same person to run for congress on behalf of both parties, then that person is sure to win. There is no need for any expensive campaign. As a bonus, such a process is also blessed by the fact that it is completely legal. There is no law that says Americans cannot be members of both parties.

There are a number of Leftist political parties and organizations in the country. Many of them have challenged the two party system of the country in previous elections, without a great deal of success. I am suggesting a different approach. Instead of fighting the two party system, I am suggesting that Leftist people should embrace it. That is perhaps the best way to destroy the two party system.

With that in mind, I am suggesting that each and every member of all Leftist groups, along with their families and friends, should join the two parties. After that, it is a matter of getting as many concerned citizens as possible to also join the two parties. The simplest, most effective way to do this is to approach people with a slogan. That should get their attention. Different groups of people should be approached with different slogans. I would suggest first approaching the students, with slogans to which they can all relate. May I suggest:

Free Education!

Abolish All Student Loans!

As there are reported to be over forty million people who are saddled with crushing student debts, it is reasonable to expect that a great many citizens, and not just students,  will flock to the cause. Better yet, we can expect the more advanced people to join the two parties.

Then there are the seniors. They are accustomed to being ignored by all politicians, except at election time. As a result of this, they tend to be rather bitter. Given the chance to turn the tables, do not be surprised if they jump at the opportunity. The only reason they have not done so years ago is because they were not aware of it. That little problem is easily remedied. Just let them know about this. For the seniors, perhaps different slogans, such as:

Free Medical!

Raise The Pensions!

I have no doubt that will get their attention. Then explain to them that as card carrying members of the two parties, they will get to decide the person to run for office. The shoe will be on the other foot. The days of being ignored by politicians will then be over. Offer to assist them in applying for membership, as most seniors are not computer experts. Do not be surprised if that puts a smile on their faces.

As for the working people, including union members, may I suggest:

Raise the Minimum Wage!

All workers are aware that if the minimum wage goes up, all wages go up. There are other groups of people, such as sports enthusiasts, who will likely respond to different slogans. May I suggest:

Defend the Right to Bear Arms!

The vast majority of such people are reasonable, only concerned with bearing firearms for sporting purposes. As for those who are determined to own machine guns and artillery, do not argue the point. By all means avoid confrontation. It will serve no purpose.

Then there are those who are mainly concerned with our right to free speech, such as journalists. They too can be approached with a suitable slogan, such as:

Defend Our Right to Free Speech!

Less savoury elements may flock to the cause, such as pornographers, and they too must be welcomed. Of course, this does not apply to kiddy pornographers. Bear in mind that in politics, it is occasionally necessary to make certain compromises, if only temporarily, with people whom we may find to be completely contemptible. As long as these compromises do not violate principle, they are acceptable.

In all cases, feel free to stress the fact that as party bosses, they get to choose the individual to run for any and all political office, on behalf of both parties.

In days gone by, it was necessary to approach people directly, but now with modern communications, such as smart phones, it is much easier. Or so I have been told. As someone who is in his declining years, I am only familiar with stupid phones. The message is the important thing. The instrument which carries the message is not. Whether that message is carried by the Pony Express or the internet, is of no consequence.

With a little effort, on the part of Leftist people, I can see no reason that the two parties cannot be flooded with Leftist people. Then the newly created party bosses can get to work and place the names of Leftist candidates on the ballots for both parties. There is no law that says the same person cannot run for office on behalf of both parties. This way, there is no need for expensive campaigns.

No doubt there are a great many people who are quite skeptical. At least, I hope there are a great many such people. To approach a problem with such an attitude is a fine,  scientific method. As someone who has spent a great many years exercising that approach, I can honestly say that most people overlook the obvious. Possibly the reason that so many Americans have not joined the two parties is because they never thought of it.

Each of the parties has tens of millions of registered voters. This is encouraging, as it means that a great many citizens went to the trouble of registering to vote as a member of one of the two parties. Now if even a fraction of those voters, perhaps ten percent, go to the extra length of applying for membership in the two parties, then millions of Americans will soon become party bosses. Further, it stands to reason that only the most advanced members of the working class will choose to become card carrying members of the parties. That is precisely the very thing we want, as the most advanced do the leading, while the less advanced do the following. As a bonus, we can expect a mixture of young and old. They can learn from each other.

These party bosses can in turn endorse the candidate of their choice to run for any and all political office, on behalf of both parties, and very soon each and every member of Congress can be a socialist, or at least a Leftist person. A great many members of the Senate can also be Leftist people. What is more, both parties can endorse Sanders for president, or anyone else of their choice. If nothing else, that should save people the expense of running a presidential campaign, a couple billion dollars. Mission accomplished.

This could well happen in the next election. But then that begs the question: what to expect? The answer depends upon the person who answers the question.

Lenin answered that question in his excellent article titled:

Elections and the Dictatorship Of the Proletariat: (all italics and emphasis by Lenin)

”In mockery of the teachings of Marx, those gentlemen, the opportunists, including the Kautskyites, ‘teach’ the people that the proletariat must first win a majority by means of universal suffrage, then obtain state power, by the vote of that majority, and only after that, on the basis of ‘consistent’ (some call it pure) democracy, organize socialism.

But we say on the basis of the teachings of Marx and the experience of the Russian revolution:

the proletariat must first overthrow the bourgeoisie and win for itself state power, and then use that state power, that is, the dictatorship of the proletariat, as an instrument of its class for the purpose of winning the sympathy of the majority of the working people.”

We are now presented with a golden opportunity to put the ”teachings” of the opportunists to the test. They are determined that in the next federal election, the American voters can, ”by means of universal suffrage”, place a socialist candidate in each and every seat of the House of Representatives, the Congress, as well as a great many members of the Senate, and the presidency. The American voters will thus obtain ”state power” and be in a position to ”organize socialism”. So say the opportunists.

By contrast, Lenin says something entirely different. Based on the theories of Marx and the experience of the Russian revolution – and here we have a fine example of theory being verified by practice – such a policy is doomed to failure. It is necessary to ”first overthrow the bourgeoisie”, as the Russian working people, which is to say the proletariat and the poor peasants, overthrew the Russian bourgeoisie in November of 1917. They then set up a new state power in the form of the dictatorship of the proletariat. Only after they had seized state power and established the dictatorship of the proletariat were they able to organize socialism.

Now it is a matter of persuading the majority of American working people of the correctness of the theories of Marx and Lenin. As there are practically no peasants in the country, the situation is simpler than the situation in Russia of 1917. Now there are workers, proletarians, and middle class people, petty bourgeois. Even most of the middle class people have been financially ruined, forced into the ranks of the proletariat. Such people are aware of the existence of classes, even though many of them still maintain the bourgeois mentality.

All such people, working class and current or former members of the middle class, must be made aware of the revolutionary theories of Marx and Lenin. Then they must be persuaded, by their own experience, of the correctness of those theories. That is precisely the reason the next federal election is so important.

I can only stress that the importance of the election lies in the fact that it can be used as a tool to raise the level of awareness of the working class. It absolutely cannot be used to establish socialism, as the opportunists preach.

As Lenin pointed out in Left Wing Communism, An Infantile Disorder, the point is not to ”get seats” in Congress or any other legislative body, but to get people to think, to raise the level of awareness of the American workers, to draw the public into the struggle, to take the capitalists, the bourgeoisie, ”at their word”, as he phrased it. In this case the American capitalists, the billionaires, the bourgeoisie, are telling people to ”change the system from within”, if they do not like the way things are.

So be it. Instead of challenging the two mainstream political parties, as has taken place in so many elections in the past, we can join them. The American public will see how far they get trying to ”change the system from within”.

We have got to respect the beliefs of countless honest, law abiding, tax paying citizens who tend to believe these lies. Such citizens believe we can ”change the system from within”, that the capitalists will respond to the will of the majority. The only way to persuade them of the correctness of our position is to let them learn from their own experience. Such experience is a great teacher.

Regardless of the number of socialists who are sent to Washington, to occupy seats in Congress, the Senate or even the White House, the class of people in charge, the capitalists, the bourgeoisie, will not allow the country to become socialist.

This challenge to their authority, all of which is completely legal, will not be tolerated. They will respond by changing their method of rule. As yet we have no way of knowing the substance of those changes. We just know that the bourgeoisie are completely reactionary, so we can expect nothing progressive from them.

The main thing is that the members of the American public will receive an education. Both working class people and middle class people will soon realize that there can be no peaceful transition to socialism. The bourgeoisie must be overthrown, the current state apparatus must be destroyed, replaced by the dictatorship of the proletariat and only then can socialism be established.

As for the vast majority of the people, the slogans of Marx and Lenin must be:

Scientific Socialism!

Workers of the World, Unite!

Dictatorship Of the Proletariat!
